Our princess Chloe lost her earthly daddy…her hero, her superglue in life, the one she always said she was going to marry one day (grin) because he was her prince.
She learned at such a young age how to fall on her knees and pray to Jesus; surrender her heart to Him; talk to Him; and still sing praises to Him from her lips.
She’s an inspiration to watch as she grows closer to God, fully trusting Him in her young life. She’s excited to get to see her ever-most handsome daddy again one day. She tells Jesus how sad she is that Josh can’t be here for her to give all her handmade presents to and hug him and love on him, but she also thanks Jesus for keeping him safe while she’s on earth. She saves all the drawings and cards she makes for him and thoroughly believes Jesus let’s him see them. And it’ll melt your heart to hear her talk to him.
While many celebrate and honor their fathers, we celebrate an undesired different way. We celebrate with memories…all of Joshua’s amazing gifts we were blessed with in our lives…while God (our Father) walks us to the water; strengthens us; gives us hope in the pain; and says, “Come, I will give you a crown of beauty for ashes”.
