So much of life happens in moments.
One moment your whole entire life can change.
In one moment your whole world can come crashing in on you.
In one moment my life changed with a new and purest love for my Joshie Pie as I saw him for the first time after birth.
In one moment, I told Jesus “You gave him to me and I give him back to You”.
In moments, I saw him grow right up before our very eyes.
In one moment I saw him become the most admirable person whom I was so very proud of.
In one moment, I saw him become the most loving daddy to his precious princess.
In one moment I saw him start his own family.
In one moment our lives tragically changed forever…in the one moment I received the phone call that he was forever gone from this earth.
In one moment we experience change.
In one moment we are awakened.
In one moment we make choices.
In one moment we are here.
In one moment we are gone.
In one moment we can regret.
In one moment we can be filled with shame and guilt.
In one moment we can choose to forgive.
In one moment we can be healed.
In one moment ugly can turn into beautiful.
In one moment messiness can become a miracle.
In one moment tragedy can become triumphant.
I wish I had one more moment with my Joshua.
I wish all the moments I had with him could just simply stand still.
I wish I could see many more moments of him living with all of us.
I wish I was in a moment of one more conversation with him.
I wish I was in a stand-still moment of being able to smell his scent.
I wish I was stuck in a moment of hugging him and being able to look into those big, beautiful blues.
In one moment I will receive my golden ticket and enter through Heaven’s gates and hug our King Jesus and then give him the biggest hug I can give him.
And in one moment we will all spend together forever.

Happy 1st Heaven Birthday Josh…
You are 23 today. Because of you baby doll, we have precious, princess Chloe Grace. You two were like superglue….nothing could ever separate you two, and your love is forever unbreakable!
Chloe picked out just the cake she wanted for you and told the decorator she wanted red flowers with “I love you daddy” on it. She picked out candles and sang happy birthday to you, and blew the candles out for you. She blew you a sweet kiss to Heaven and said when she goes to Heaven, she’s bringing you a chocolate cake up there because that’s your favorite!
Me and Alisha were planning on buying you a Keurig with a gazillion cups for you to have plenty of different flavors to try. I so wish I could’ve seen the look on your face with all those cups. I can so hear the chuckle you would’ve made. Those little ways I loved to spoil you.
We missed you Christmas. We missed you today. We miss you everyday!!
