Hearts of many emotions all connected by Love…
While Mothers everywhere are being celebrated with the song of love from their amazing children; there are many who are overtaken with bottled up and unsung emotions. These are the mothers who are crying tears of emptiness.
I get so nostalgic about my boys remembering the many times I woke up to little feet carrying breakfast to me in bed and getting so excited to lay with me and cuddle up to me; feeling blessed to endlessly cherish all homemade cards and gifts that they poured they heart and soul into making just especially for me. My Mother’s Day can never be celebrated the same again.
As you go about your busy day on Mother’s Day with a normal and happy day celebrating your children’s love all around you; please stop and rest for a few minutes in the presence of our Master and pray for all the Mothers who don’t get this same privilege.
These are everyday Mothers whose songs are unsung.
These are Mothers screaming inside because the reality of their life without a child being forever a part of it, is gone.
THESE ARE MOTHERS WHO ARE…..
Faced with the reality that their child will never come home from military battle the way they prayed and hoped for.
Grieving inside because they wanted children so badly and time and time again never could conceive.
Screaming inside from not understanding why their newborn baby’s first breath of life didn’t continue and had to end shortly after birth.
Holding onto anger from their child being taken too young, and painfully having to bury them way too soon.
Saddened they can’t hug their own Mother because her life is now only memories.
Devastated they had to lose their child from a stupid, freak, or tragic accident or brutal intention.
Torturing themselves inside with shame, guilt, and regret from making a decision to end their baby’s life for various reasons.
Questioning why their pregnancies never would come full-term ending in miscarriage.
Broken because they wanted so badly to grow their family and couldn’t for different reasons.
We’re in this hurt and pain together. No matter how, why, what, or when….our pain is real and it unbearably hurts like heck so many times! Let’s hold hands together as our hearts are connected by one chord called love; praying in unity that every one of these Mothers know they are Loved; they are Important; they are Special; and we are in this together.
Let’s grace all these beautiful hearted Mothers and Women with love, support, and encouragement this Mother’s Day.
I am a mother who misses her baby boy and baby girl and takes one day at a time.
Forever trusting God ~ Audrey
